The spacious bathroom in Arundel is a perfect escape, with an oversized tub and a shower under incredible brick arches. It's like stepping back in time and indulging in pure relaxation. As a business traveler, I love having a luxurious bathroom to unwind after a long day.
Personally, I found the marble-surrounded tub with a shower in the bathroom a little dated. However, I understand that some guests might appreciate the antique touch and find it charming.

From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beautiful decor and elegant ambiance. The inn's interior is tastefully decorated with antique furniture and intricate details that added to its grandeur. As a senior woman, I felt comfortable and at home in the inn's general areas, which were well-maintained and easily accessible. The hallways were wide and well-lit, making it easy for me to navigate around the property.
The only improvement I would suggest for a better vacation experience for senior people is that the children working there could be more readily available to offer suggestions and assistance. While the staff was professional and courteous, it would have been nice to have someone readily available to ask for recommendations on dining options or attractions in the area.

The spacious bathroom in my room was the perfect escape, with its oversized tub and beautiful views of the private gardens. The bright and beautiful room in the castle was a delight, with a king-size bed and stunning ocean views from the shared balcony. The sleeping room had a charming upper balcony with its own library, a cozy king-size bed, and a spectacular view of Camden Maine's Penobscot Bay. The elegant third-floor room was newly renovated and had a comfortable sitting area in the curved turret, as well as a sumptuous king-size bed for pure relaxation. I loved the large curved windows in my room, which were part of Norumbega's distinct turret. The bathroom in my Coastal Maine lodging was fantastic, with an extra long antique claw foot tub and a shower. The eleven unique guestrooms, including two suites, offered thoughtful amenities and a welcome respite for guests.
Personally, I didn't enjoy the marble surrounded tub with a shower in the bathroom. It wasn't my preferred style.

The Norumbega Inn is my go-to place for a perfect getaway. The friendly staff once helped me find my lost necklace. With free Wi-Fi, outdoor dining, and a flat-screen TV, this cozy inn has everything I need. I keep coming back for a romantic escape.

We partied like it was 1899, and it was lit! The castle grounds were dope and perfect for chilling with our crew. We even had a mad fun tea party in the library. The breakfasts were straight fire and kept us fueled all day. It was the perfect place for a wild weekend with friends!
The only thing we wished for was a sick party room with some sick beats. It would be awesome if they had a DJ or a dancefloor where we could turn up the music and have a wild night of dancing.

The hotel was close enough to the main shops. The property was a 20-minute walk from High Street Historic District. The double room came with a very nice walk-in shower, a balcony, and a window overlooking the lovely grounds. Having a refrigerator and glassware in the room was a huge plus.

We really got our money's worth at this beautiful, historic hotel. The room was a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern convenience, and the staff treated us like valued guests. The location was great too, with a lovely view from our balcony.
The breakfast experience could have been more enjoyable with a wider variety of options.

The boutique hotel's stunning vistas from Balmoral's bay windows were like a masterpiece. The dining rooms with the cozy fireplaces were perfect for a lavish dinner party. Chef Phil's three-course breakfast was a delicious start to the day.
I just loved everything so much, there's absolutely nothing to complain about!

The Norumbega Inn truly exceeded my expectations and made my stay delightful. The charming decor and cozy atmosphere throughout the inn made me feel right at home. The children working there were so helpful and accommodating, ensuring that all of my needs as a senior were met. Accessibility was never an issue, with easy access to all areas of the inn and its surroundings.
It would have been even better if there were more activities tailored specifically for senior guests.

I recently stayed at this beautiful venue for a few days and had a fantastic experience. The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel like a valued guest. The breakfast was absolutely phenomenal and the rooms were lovely. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the coffee and scones on each floor in the morning, as well as the Prosecco and port served in the library. The atmosphere and historical value of the property added to the overall charm. Can't wait to come back!
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.
